I’ve been trying out some new things as of late, and screen-casting tutorials  using some very cool, but new to me software has slowed down posts on the blog.

For that I apologize.

What prompted this push to branch out and learn something new?

My parents.

Both in their 70’s they often ask ‘How do you…’ as it relates to computers.  I try to explain, but decided that showing them in a way that they can view over and over again if need be, was best.

That led me to try out several screen-casting software programs.  Some are free, and some are not, but I’ve narrowed it down and now I’m trying to get proficient with it.

There’s a lot to learn, but here’s a video tutorial I did primarily for those who are new to Google Drive.
