XBMC can seem complicated to setup and use, but there are a lot of great tutorials on YouTube with folks who really know their stuff!
When I got started using XBMC I was terrified of the interface. It seemed overwhelming. Admittedly there is a learning curve to it, and it does take time to get comfortable using it, but once you do, a whole new world in entertainment opens up.
I talk a little bit about it in my book: Simple Guide to Over-the-Air Free TV, but to learn how to setup and use XBMC (recently renamed KODI) YouTube really is the place to learn.
If you want to download KODI, you can get it here for PC or Mac, Android, iOS, Raspberry Pi, Linux and KodiBuntu.
Here are a few XBMC/KODI videos I recommend to get you started.
This one is a 42 minute ‘how to install’, that is helpful if you’re not yet using XBMC.
These are from a channel which also has an active Facebook group worth joining to help you learn even more. You have to request an invite, but once approved you’ll get the scoop!
Add-ons are what make XBMC Kodi a personalized, streaming entertainment solution for cordcutters. Paired with a Mohu HDTV Antenna, it can’t be beat!
